Sculpture Casting
From traditional to contemporary methods
The team at Meridian are here to help support your next project; from modest and classic, to bold and contemporary.
Lost Wax Casting
The lost-wax casting method employed by Meridian requires a lifetime of specialist skill and an eye for detail. Our ethos is old fashioned too; get it done properly, on time, and with the utmost respect for the artwork and client. Our castings and metalwork are benchmarked to world-class standards, and our patination services are highly sought after. Most important is Meridian’s willingness to collaborate on and solve complex production challenges.
Our services include:
Traditional mould and lost wax casting service
3D printed pattern to metals casting service
Enlargements via 3D scan/print/machine techniques
CNC-machined foam pattern-making techniques
Custom-engineered pneumatic casting system for extremely fine and intricate section widths, down to 0.5mm
Meridian has custom-built and engineered a large centrifuge casting machine for complex works up to 280mm x 180mm x 180mm with extremely fine and intricate section widths, down to 0.5mm. 3D Printed parts and most combustible materials can be cast in this fashion also.
